LG Shine: All set to capture the European market

The LG Shine has not yet been launched in the European market, but is expected to be out in the second quarter of 2007. It is similar to the Korean version of SV 420, but it is a GSM handset and not a CDMA one.

Though, the LG have not yet confirmed about the specifications of the Shine; however, the features of the Shine will almost be similar to SV420, which is very much popular in the Korean market.

It has a 2.2’’ 262,000 colour “mirror effect” display having 240 x 320 pixels. The LG shine has 70 Mb of internal memory, which can be easily expanded using the micro SD cards.
Apart from these features, you will be getting a 2 megapixel camera and the lenses would be of Schneider Kreuznach. In addition to that, it also has a Bluetooth connectivity and quad-band GSM support.

You can also get a web browser, email client and MP3 player, which is commonly expected in every mobile phone. The weight of Shine is meagrely 115 grams with the dimension of 94x 51x14 mm. The talk time is of around 3 hours with a standby of 3 days.

The LG Shine would be having a scroll wheel, which we have seen in the past in some other handsets as well. The scroller is a convenient addition that makes working on this handset easier for most of us. It is expected that the second generation scroller will overcome the problems which the users have faced in its earlier version. The design of the LG Shine is considered to be more practical than that of the LG Chocolate. LG Shine would certainly be successful in the European market.
